1. About this Journal
Vedic Science is the only International Journal that publishes original peer-reviewed research papers and articles of modern sciences as well as different areas of Indian knowledge system, Vedic Sciences and scientific Interpretation of Vedas and allied literature. Vedic Science Journal was founded in 1999 by eminent Vedic Scholars Dr. Ravi Prakash Arya and Late Ram Narain Arya as the mouth piece of Indian Foundation for Vedic Science. Since then Dr. Ravi Prakash Arya is serving as the Editor-in-Chief of this Journal and Ram Narain Arya served as the Patron between 1999 and 2010. Vedic Science was published by International Vedic Vision New York between 2000 to 2009. Now its hard copy is being published from Amazon plateform alongwith its kindle version, so that it may become accessible to all the readers on the globe. However, the readers have been given the choice to access its e-verssion on this website.
2. Objectives
The Vedic Science Journal is published with the following objectives:
1). Towards preserving the Vedic scientific heritage globally.
2). To promote and promulgate the rational, secular and scientific outlook of the Vedic seers and scholiasts of ancient India.
3. To bring together the Vedic scholars, who have evinced a great interest for promotion of Vedic studies on scientific lines, and modern scientists or scholars interested into the Vedic scientific vision, both professionals and amateurs, irrespective of caste, creed, race, region or religions from India and other parts of the globe, to present the detailed accounts / results of their original findings, discoveries and researches into the Vedic sciences and scientific interpretation of the Vedas and allied literature.
4. To provide a forum or a platform to find out the solution to the various issues of mass and global concern in the light of eternal laws (social and natural) discovered by the ancient Seers of India.
5. To help the modern scientific knowledge synthesise with the Vedic one so that it may diffuse following the Vedic vision, for upkeep, advancement, safety and development of humankind and not for ecological crisis, destruction and extinction of living organisms.
6. To promote such a vision (as discovered by the seers of India in the times of yore) as could bring about social reforms leading to harmony, friendship, fraternity and common culture to the present day trouble torn world of humankind and help in the cause of national and international peace, and, thus, suggesting to the modern science for more and more constructive role and to the Vedic science for more and more active role for the upkeep and safety of living organisms and the planet.
7. It also attempts a thorough, dispassionate, and impartial scientific reappraisal of the extant Vedic and Allied literature.
8. This Journal will also try to formulate/ lay down various scientific theories and principles enshrined in the Vedas and Allied literature.

Peer Review Process and Procedure
Authors are invited to submit their paper to the journal through the submit button given below. The submissions may also be accepted by email: vedicscience@hotmail.com.


After the paper is received, the paper’s composition and arrangement against the journal’s Author Guidelines will be checked to make sure it includes the required sections and stylizations. The quality of the paper is not assessed at this point.
At the next stage the concerned EIC checks that the paper is appropriate for the journal and is sufficiently original and interesting. If not, the paper may be rejected without being reviewed any further.


After the paper is accepted by the concerned EIC, it will be referred to a suitable editor or the member of editorial Board to get it peer reviewed.


The handling editor or member of editorial board refers the paper to two peer-reviewers already in the list of Journal or outside the list who are assessed as appropriate reviewers. The reviewers will go through the papers keenly and provide a detailed point-by-point review and submit it to the editor with a recommendation to accept it or reject it- or else with a request for revision before it is published.


The handling editor will consider all the reviews before making an overall decision. If the reviews differ widely, the editor may invite an additional reviewer so as to get an extra opinion before making a decision.
The authors will be informed accordingly including any relevant reviewer comments.


If accepted, the paper is sent to production. If the paper is rejected or sent back for either major or minor revision, the handling editor will include constructive comments from the reviewers to help the author improve the article. If the paper is sent back for revision, the author should send a new version. However, where only minor changes are highlighted this follow-up review will be done by the handling editor.
